Prior to joining SEU, I was a research fellow in School of Computing of National University of Singapore (NUS) and CNRS@CREATE, supervised by Prof. Xiaokui Xiao.

I was also a Big Data Engineer working for Volcano Engine of ByteDance.

I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), under the supervision of Prof. Ke Yi. I also received my B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Economics, and in Computer Science with First Class Honors from HKUST.

My research interests include: database theory and systems; data security and privacy; data sketching and sampling; data streams; data structures.
